Just in case we need this in the future. I'll be performing these steps with Gary's headset once I arrive. I'll be there shortly!
1. Manual Pairing (Re-Registration)
If your headset isn't communicating with the base, follow these steps to re-pair it:
- Remove the headset from the base.
- Power off the headset by pressing and holding the Call Control button for about 3 seconds until you hear the "Power off" voice prompt, then release.
- Turn it back on by pressing and holding the same button for 5 seconds until you hear "Power on" or "Pairing."
- Go to your charging base and press and hold the PC button for 5 seconds. The light will flash white and green to indicate it's in pairing mode.
- Keep holding both for about 5 seconds, and they should automatically pair and connect.
2. Factory Reset and Hard Reboot
If manual pairing fails, you can reset the devices and try again:
- Reset the Base: Press and hold both the Computer icon and the Desk Phone icon on the base simultaneously for 6 to 10 seconds. You will hear an audible voice prompt that says "Factory Reset."
- Power Cycle: Unplug the power cable from the base for 10 seconds, then plug it back in.
- Reset the Headset: Put the headset on the base and press the Call Control button for about 5 seconds until it flashes rapidly, attempting to register again.
