When Location Data Does Not Display Accurate Information for a Device

If a device appears out of the company geofence policy, but the physical device is at the location, follow the following steps to make the location accurate:

- Make sure the device is connected to the internet.

- Scan the device.

- Open the MDM app on the device and perform a Sync task (you can find this action under Device Details). Then, make sure that the sync completed successfully and is showing the current time.

- Refresh the MDM Location Data screen.

- Finally, under the device complete information, select Locate Now under Action.

The problem should be resolved at this point. If not, contact ManageEngine by clicking on the Help icon on the top right corner of the screen. This will prompt you to a website where you will have to initiate a chat conversation with their support team.
