HP Office Jet Pro 9025e ID and Password Configuration
Eventually, a user might need to use a printer to scan a document and save it in a network folder (e.g., the interior shipping folder). If the user is unable to perform this procedure because the specified printer does not connect to that folder, stating that the user ID and password are incorrect, the administrator needs to reset those credentials.
To do so, navigate to the printer's properties by typing the IP address in any browser. Make sure to have the default printer password or pin (usually located on the printer label). For an HP printer, once you are inside the properties, go to Scan to Network Folder. You will be prompted to type the PIN. You will see a list of network folder profiles. Choose the one for which you need the credential modifications and click on Edit.
At this point, you will have the possibility to also change the name besides the user and password. Once your changes are complete, make sure to get a test result until the printer and your network are successfully connected.
